NOTES ABOUT THE FARM AND FAMILY

We’ve been through a lot of changes with the Silva Hoff’s since we first bought coffee from their farm, Siberia, back in 2007. In the last few years they’ve transitioned to processing all of their own coffees through their new mill, San Pedro, which gave them more control, but also a lot more responsibility. As if that wasn’t enough, this year they built a dry mill as well, so now they can control quality from seedling to export. All this while managing several coffee farms through a sizable harvest! With this year’s lot from the Plan del Cedro section at the top of Siberia, we’re seeing that the Silva Hoff’s considerable investment of time and energy is paying off.
