Want to out-shine the hot plates at this year's Thanksgiving gathering? Bring a few bags of Ritual coffee and be the belle of the turkey-ball!
These cozy flavors are sure to warm up any table, and our red bags will look beautiful alongside Aunt Ednabelle's Ambrosia Salad. Besides, you always were her favorite.
To pre-order your coffee and secure your seat at the head of the flavor table, visit one of our cafes or call one of our skilled baristas and ask about their favorite Thanksgiving coffee.
Los Crestones El Alto, Costa Rica $16/12oz
Flavor notes of meyer lemon, graham cracker, and vanilla. The perfect complement to Grandma Nann's Pumpkin Pie.
Hama, Ethiopia $16/12oz
Floral aromas of lilac, lavender, and white grape. A fabulous flavor partner to anything Aunt Ednabelle brings, especially her Ambrosia.
Karinga, Kenya $20/12oz
Flavor notes of pink lemonade, yellow peaches, and sparkling lime. Together with Uncle Jerry's Pumpkin Pie, the two of you will be labeled the go-getters of the dinner table.
Decaf Los Gigantes, Colombia $17/12oz
Flavor notes of banana bread, cherry preserves, and chocolate pudding. A cozy end to a wonderful day.
For Espresso Lovers:
Cabin Fever Seasonal Espresso $16/12oz

Sweet Tooth Espresso Altos del Abejonal, Costa Rica $16/12oz

If you’re friends with us on Facebook, or follow us on Twitter, you might have heard that we’ve thrown our hat into the ring to win a $250,000 grant from Chase and Google.
Just what would we do with $250,000? As our longtime regulars know, we used to roast the coffee out of our coffee bar on Valencia. In 2009 we moved the roasting operation to SoMa. Nearly every day, people ring the doorbell at the Roastery expecting to be able to get a tour and a cup of coffee. Sadly, we have to turn them away, without so much as a shot of espresso.
If we were to get this grant, we’d be able to open the Roastery to the public. But instead of just having a café, we’d build a hands-on teaching laboratory. Wouldn’t you love to get behind one of our espresso machines and learn how to pull a shot? We’d offer training and classes. We’d be able to better share the stories of the producers whose coffee we’re roasting.
So please take a second and vote for us. Consider sharing the link on Facebook. It would be an amazing resource in San Francisco, a city now known for its coffee!
Thanks for your support!

One thing we’ve noticed over the years is that our customers care about milk-alternatives. Like, a lot. Ritual has been offering Pacific soy milk as a milk alternative for years, but we’ve also heard a lot of requests for other options. We think it’s great that so many folks love our coffee with milk alternatives other than soy. So after a lot of R&D, we’re happy to announce that Ritual will be offering almond milk from Califia Farms on a trial basis.
Trial basis? What’s that all about? Well, we’ve received a lot of demand for almond milk, but we also have some soy purists as well. For now, Ritual will be offering both for a few months to see which milk alternative our customers prefer. We want you to have a voice in our decision, so please let us know how you feel. Tell your barista, tweet us (@ritualcoffee), hire someone from Task Rabbit to deliver a hand-written love note...whatever you’re into. We’re interested, for real.
At the end of three months, we’ll make a decision. It’s a good, old-fashioned milk-alternative cage match to the death! Two milk-alternatives enter, one will leave! You get the idea.
